IPhone Resale

Apple iPhone - IPhone Resale Questions

I just upgraded to an iPhone 4 from my white 32 GB 3GS.

2 questions:

1. Afterr resetting and erasing everything - do I also need to remove the sim card, and if so why? Wouldn't that be a problem for whomever buys it next and make them less likely to buy?

2. What is the going price one could expect to sell a white 32GB phone for?

It seems like a lot of people want unlocked phones and mine is locked.

SIM cards are unique to the user's mobile account, not to the phone. You should remove it because:-

1. If you cancel it, no one else can use it;

2. If you don't cancel it, the new owner might use it at your expense.

If your phone is locked, that means it can only be used with the same network. That is why it is less attractive to buyers.

Have you looked in ebay and craig's list for typical prices?
