I can't sync my iPhone 3GS with my iTunes, any solution?

Try holding down home button fir about 10 seconds when you connect your iPhone via USB cable. See if it connects to iPhoto if you are on a mac. This will help diagnose if cable problem or not.-----
go to itunes.
top click help
go to diagnostic. click
