Notes on MacBook Air: Software reinstall Drive, 4GB RAM ($100) options

Apple iPhone - Notes on MacBook Air: Software reinstall Drive, 4GB RAM ($100) options

Some extras that were glossed over in the show: Apple is including a Software Re-install Drive (bye-bye optical). We're expecting that Lion will be released on USB Stick (Or SD?) as well.

Also, Jobs had us worried, but we now see a 4GB option on MacBook Airs. We can now breathe again!

That 2GB of RAM will cost you $100. Done and bought.

I was just on their website looking at the new air. I am seriously considering getting one but one thing is stopping me at this time - can my fat fingers live without the number pad?

No current Apple keyboard has a numeric keypad, the MB Air has a "full size" (same size a the BT keyboard that ships with the last two generation iMacs and the generation priors wired keyboard).
