The other day, an update for a dictionary app was available. I started downloading it to my iPhone. Then I found out it's already downloaded on my PC. So I synced.
After the sync, the icon on my phone appears to be "waiting". And it can't be deleted. Can't start downloading either.
Any idea on this?
This happened to me the other week but it became okay after I re-synced.
But this time, after like 10 syncs, still the same.

Try deleting it from iTunes first then sync. If that gets rid of it from your phone, simply reinstall from your phone and transfer purchases to iTunes.
