i copied a movie from a dvd to my pc which runs windows.i tried adding this
movie to my itunes lib,but it doesnt show up in the lib.
Am i doin something wrong? does the movie need to be in a specific format to be
added to the lib?
Would be glad to know how to load movies to itunes and then sync them to my
iphone.

Yes you do need to reformat the movie and I have done this successfully with Cucusoft iPhone video converter as well Handbrake. Both programs work well and have instructions for the procedure. I found Cucusoft even easier.
