Am cruising in the Caribbean next month. My iPad shows an international data plan; I went to AT&T today but they say the iPad won't work abroad. Will it work in the Caribbean if the island is listed on the data plan? The ship Internet is extremely slow & more expensive.

I've had my iPad less than 90 days, so I called Apple support today. The iPad will work in the Caribbean with an international plan. I wish there was an Apple store closer than 170 miles away from me.
