Apple iPhone - OS4 on 3gs / How Close Apps
My 3gs has just been updated to the OS 4.0 (multi-tasking) I have iHeart Radio and use it often. HOW do I shut it off this app when I am not using it? Does it shut off automatically?

Double click your home button, the currently open apps will appear at the bottom of the screen. Press and hold any one and they will start to wiggle with a minus sign. Tap the ones you want to quit. Double click the home button to hide the icons of the open apps.
