iPhone Note app

Apple iPhone - iPhone Note app

I know that there has been a recent thread on favorite apps so I wanted to ask for the opinion on a more specific app need.

Dos anyone know of an iPhone app for Notes that will sync with a desktop version. My needs are better suited by using a desktop note program that will sync to iPhone as most entries will be made from a desktop. I have looked at Toodledo but it just does not float my boat, the whole desktop interface is just kind of blah.

I did look at the Awesome Note iPhone app and can say that it is what I am looking for on the iPhone side, in fact it would be perfect if only it had a desktop sync. I love the To Do function on the Awesome Note app but again, no desktop sync. For Tasks I currently use Google Calendar/Tasks and a limited Task iPhone app that I cannot even remember what the name is.

I use NoteMaster.

Am not a big note person, but do like to get my grocery, town lists on the iPhone after typing using the computer (PC). NoteMaster syncs with Google Docs and since you use some Google items, might work for you. Like that I can use any computer to update the Google Docs items and then sync.

Awesome notes syncs with google docs so it does have a desktop sync per say. If you would be interested I wouldn't mind walking you through it :)

I recommend Notebooks app.

-----
I use notespark...its via the net...and synchcs both ways...I like it. I know that some folks like evernote.

-----
OneNote looks promising but still buggy.

-----
Evernote, hands down! App, mac desktop, or web.

-----
I use office 2003 outlook, besides the notes it does take care of your contacts too

-----
So far, the Notes app that comes preloaded on the iPhone4 has served my needs quite well and is easy peasy to synch w/ Outlook. The only thing I'm running into now is how to alphabetize/organize the notes.....it looks like they only list by creation date.

If you are using a Mac, MobileMe is the obvious choice. Or if you do not want to look for a cheap subscription on line, then you can use PhoneView by ecamm.com to sync or copy from iPhone to Mac and back. It will move all kinds of things from the iPhone.
