Free iPhone Movies - Editing videos?

Free iPhone Movies - Editing videos - what is recommended?



I went hiking this morning and got some great videos on my 4S of Beavers getting branches for the winter. However, when I put them on my Windows 7 laptop, Quicktime shows them all flipped 90 degrees, argh, I probably should have held the iPhone sideways rather than upright.



Free iPhone Movies .. So, I would like to rotate the movies, I would like to zoom in and crop, and I would like to string several of them into one continuous file.



I have spent the afternoon Googling video editing software but can't tell which one would be easy but able to do those things. I thought of Quicktime Pro but the reviews are terrible. I'm not looking for free, I'm looking for easy to use.



Free iPhone Movies .. .. I did upload one clip to YouTube if you would like to take a look. I've been watching these beavers for the whole summer and they are really fun, and quite used to me by now. The temperature here (Quebec, Canada) is getting below freezing at night and the beavers are in urgent mode now.



Free iPhone Movies .. Picasa from google is a good place to start. Adobe photoshop elements is very good.



iMovie. Unless you are still using a PC rather than a Mac. There is an iMovie app for the iPhone also.



Free iPhone Movies .. I think I have found some software that will do what I need and a lot more. It is MoviePlus, http://www.serif.com/AllProducts/. They have a free version and a purchased version. You save $20 if you download and try the free version first.



Anyway, I shot a lot of great video of the beavers yesterday and I am hoping to put them together with this new software. I will post a link if I get it onto YouTube.



The sad thing is that some local cottagers have complained about the beavers and so the government is coming in this winter to trap and kill these guys. The cottagers fears are that the beaver dams will break and they will get a flood. I have been hiking there since 2003 and the beavers maintain the dams perfectly but once the beavers are killed, the cottagers fears will probably be realized.

Voice memo for iMovie

How to move a voice memo created in my iPhone to use in iMovie without syncing laptop? and How to move voice memo to playlist on iPhone?

I tried emailing the voice memo to myself and retrieving it on my iPad. The voice memo can be opened in some of my apps (GoodReader and audio memos) on the ipad. The file comes in the .m4a format and is not accessible by iMovie app on my iPad. I could not find a way to save it to the playlist of selectable songs or audio for iMovie app. I believe you will have to move it via sync procedure.

Netflix?

Apple iPhone - Netflix?

I understand the iphone is coming to Verizon.

I have been told that I will be able to download Netflix movies from this phone if I get one. Does anyone know for sure? That would be the main reason that I would be getting the phone as I don't really know that much about it. (That's why I joined the group! *S*) And, yes, I do have the Netflix account.

Yes with the iPhone 4 you can stream Netflix movies to it. I have it and it's great.

I've been using Phone Flix, but it's not very reliable.

Sorry. Didn't think about that. I don't have a DVD queue. I have a stream only account. Sorry :)

You can't. You can manage your DVD/Bluray queue and your instant streaming queue but you can only stream a movie if it is available in streaming format.

Thanks so much for all the answers and advise from all of you that sent something in. I really want to get this phone. What I have now got to decide is do I wait until May when I can just re-do my plan or do I add another line and go ahead and get it when it comes out!!!! I know that I should wait, but not sure I can! lol

I had such a bad experience with my last phone. I made a mistake and bought it at the State Fair when they were in town. I told him that all I wanted it to do was stream Netflix. Not knowing anything about that type "stuff", I just got the phone he told me would do it. It's a great phone, it just won't do the one thing that I ask him that it would be able to do. The phone is a LG Ally. I just put it back in the box and started using my old phone. They said they would take it back, just call this guy and he would send me a box and I could sent it back. But, he never would call me back. rofl

Anyway, don't suppose any of you out there would happen to know anything about that phone. I don't think there is an app or whatever it would take to stream Netflix for the LG Ally phone?

I have the 3GS and I stream movies to it as well. It works pretty good !! Which is why I keep unlimited.

I use my iPhone 3Gs to watch Netflix movies in streaming. We assume that Verizon will have the same capability, but they you know that assume is a mighty big word.

No, you can not download the movie to the iPhone, you stream it, so I don't think you will be able to download it __from__ the iPhone to anything else. That is not even available to your computer. It is DVD through the mail, or stream it to your device.

i copied a movie from a dvd to my pc which runs windows.i tried adding this
movie to my itunes lib,but it doesnt show up in the lib.

Am i doin something wrong? does the movie need to be in a specific format to be
added to the lib?

Would be glad to know how to load movies to itunes and then sync them to my
iphone.

Yes you do need to reformat the movie and I have done this successfully with Cucusoft iPhone video converter as well Handbrake. Both programs work well and have instructions for the procedure. I found Cucusoft even easier.

iPhone Movies

Assuming you use a PC, I use a product from Ulead - it is an older version than what they have on their web site, but I use it to capture video off the tapes I make in a camcorder, then save them to the computer. I pick a format to save them that iTunes recognizes, and then transfer.

This also works for VHS recordings of old TV shows not available through iTunes.
