I have searched and searched on my phone but dmned if I can figure out how to turn on/off the battery percentage next to the battery icon at the top.
My iPhone shows it but my husbands does not and I cannot figure out how to turn it on for his phone. BTW, we both have 3GS phones.

Settings > General > Usage > Battery Percentage.Not all iPhones are created equal. There's a free app called Battery Magic
which will work.
But all "3Gs" iPhones should be.
