I've been sucked into the Twitter world for business reasons and I was wondering if anyone can recommend the best Twitter app. I did a search through the group archives but I didn't see anything.
iPhone Twitter
I've used nearly all of 'em, and the one I now rely on is TwitterFon Pro, but Tweetie comes in close second. TwitterFon Pro has a ton of features and a consistent interface that I just adore. ^_^-----
I've tried several of them and I find Tweetie to be the best overall.

Surprised you didn't find anything in the archives. It's been discussed numerous times.
My personal preference is Tweetie. I tried nearly all of them, but liked the serious drill down available in Tweetie.

If you want free Twitterfon if you want paid Tweetie. My favorite Tweetie but not by much.

You can't go wrong with Tweetie. I love the integration with InstaPaper.

I like Tweetie and Twittelator. I had tried others, including some that are highly regarded by others (Twitterfon, anyone?) and found them lacking in some basic functionality.
I had initially settled into Tweetie but had to switch to something else because Tweetie was effected by the so-called "Twitpocalypse bug". New version that just showed up in my iTunes update check today says that is now fixed.

Many of the reviews of the Twitter apps list a handful as being very good.
I've found that the look and feel of the apps is a big factor since everyone uses Twitter a little differently.
My point is that for these apps a lot of it will be personal preference so you might want to grab the free versions that are available for several of the apps to see if you like the interface, etc.
